X-rays are essential for understanding the tooth's internal structure, revealing the number and shape of root canals. Sometimes, a tooth may have multiple canals or diverging paths, which can be tricky to detect with standard 2D X-rays. In such cases, a 3D X-ray, or CBCT, provides a clearer view, ensuring thorough cleaning and disinfection. Ultimately, X-rays guides in delivering the best possible treatment for our patients, making the process more predictable and effective.
