Ms Lee Yean
Hygienist

“Integrating Nutrition with Oral Health”
Ms Lee Yean obtained her Dental Hygiene degree from Eugenio Maria de Hostos Community College of The City University of New York, USA. She went on to get her Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Food and Exercise Science at the Queens College of The City University of New York, USA.
She has taken the above degree as she sees food and oral health as inter-dependent topics. This helps her to educate patients on how to make their oral health better through their eating habits.
After earning her Dental Hygiene degree, Ms. Lee Yean practiced in New York for two years before completing her Bachelor's Degree. Following her graduation, she decided to return to Malaysia to spend more time with her parents. In 2018, she began practicing in Singapore, where she has now accumulated over six years of experience.
Lee Yean is very eager to help her patients understand the importance of their oral health along with building long lasting relationships. She hopes her gentle touch and smile will provide you with comfort during your visits, but if you need that extra something she is licensed to provide local anesthesia.
“Elevating Care through Continuous Learning”
She enjoys sharing her knowledge of oral hygiene to patients and happy to see patients achieving a better results when they are back for their 6-monthly checkup. She enjoy sharing the correct techniques of caring for one's teeth with her patient as she believe that results can only be achieved by being consistent. She also enjoys hiking and traveling as well. She particularly loves the view when she is on top of the mountains.
Ms Lee Yean is currently a member of Singapore Dental Council and a Registered Dental Hygienist in New York State.
She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Malay.

Areas of Expertise

Scaling and Polishing
Scaling removes plaque and hardened tartar from teeth and gums, while polishing smooths the enamel to help prevent buildup. It is recommended to get scaling and polishing every 6 months.

Airflow Cleaning
Airflow cleaning uses a jet of water, air, and fine powder to remove surface stains. It can reach areas that are difficult to access with routine brushing, leaving teeth cleaner and brighter.
