This guide is ideal for anyone considering a cost effective option of whitening your teeth. Dr Annette also offers whitening consultations which includes assessing the type of discolouration and providing advice for optimal results. She covers on the factors influencing this decision and how to keep up with regular dental practices to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment. Whitening trays are a popular, non-invasive method for brightening teeth, offering convenience and affordability for patients seeking an improved smile. These trays are custom-made to fit your teeth and used alongside whitening gels that gradually lighten discolouration over a few weeks, creating a natural, even transition. However, the effectiveness of whitening trays can vary depending on factors such as the type of discolouration, oral hygiene, lifestyle habits, and diet.  Dr Annette further emphasizes that thorough dental examination of your teeth helps focus on identifying the nature of discolouration, whether it is external or internal, and addresses the importance of knowing the potential causes of these discolouration before starting whitening treatment. Proper technique and consistent care to your teeth are essential for optimal results. While individual responses to whitening gels differ, these trays remain a reliable option for maintaining a radiant smile at home.
