Behind the Smiles: How Our Dentists Are Elevating Dental Care Through Global Learning

That’s why we’re excited to share the success of the Advance Restorative Art Workshop, organised by The Dental Think Tank, a dental education company founded by our very own Dr Justin Giam and Dr Nicholas Ng.

Held for the first time in Singapore, this hands-on course featured renowned Japanese dentist Dr Tetsuya Uchiyama, who brought decades of experience and innovation in tooth restoration. Known for his meticulous craftsmanship and artistic eye, Dr Uchiyama guided fellow dentists through meticulous techniques in tooth restoration, including lifelike shaping, colour matching, and structural rebuilding.

Over two days in October 2024, dentists from across the region gathered to sharpen their skills using lifelike models, learning the evolving techniques to restore teeth with both function and natural beauty. Our team, including Dr Jaclyn Toh, Dr Philip Miller, Dr Erin Fu, Dr Annette Ong, Dr Amanda-Mae Nguee, Dr Nicholas Ng, Dr Justin Giam and our master ceramist Katsuya Seki, all took part in the workshop.
